Cabin and lakeside sauna on the shores of a lake at the foot of Kotavaara. Located 10 km east of Kemijärvi, Kotajärvi is 45 m away (lake length 4.3 km, width 0.6 km, connected to Kemijärvi), with a shallow shore and sandy bottom. Water levels vary due to regulation. There is a pier and a private boat.

The cabin is made of planed logs with panel walls inside, built in 1983 and expanded and renovated in 2002. The living area includes a sofa bed, kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed (width 140 cm), a bathroom with a toilet, an entrance hall, and an open porch.

The lakeside sauna features a steam room, dressing room, and porch. The sauna is equipped with electric lighting, a wood-burning stove, and a water tank. Water can be carried from the lake or the cabin. The sauna is 40 m from the cabin, and the dressing room has a wood-burning heater.

There is a kennel with a doghouse for a dog.
Additionally, the cabin is equipped with a smoking oven.
