Traditional round log cabin on the clear and fish-rich shores of Lake Pyhäjärvi, surrounded by nature reserves.

The cabin is located on a naturally beautiful and peaceful southern lakeshore, with a pier and a boat. The shore is relatively shallow, partly rocky and partly sandy. The pier provides good swimming access. The water area is home to nesting birds such as loons, swans, and ospreys.

Located 75 km south of Joensuu, the cabin was built in 1988, with a roof renovation and exterior painting completed in 2025. The cabin includes a combined kitchen/living room with a sofa bed and a sleeping alcove with a 120 cm bed. Access to the sauna, dressing room, and WC is via the outdoor veranda.

Water is supplied from the lake via a water pipe. Drinking water is purified by reverse osmosis, with a dedicated tap in the kitchen. The cabin features a fireplace and an air-source heat pump.

In the yard, there is an old nostalgic log outbuilding with a 120 cm wide bed and a log outbuilding built in 2014 with a 160 cm wide bed. The yard area includes a campfire site, a smoking box, and a swing, as well as a composting outdoor toilet in addition to the regular WC. The veranda is furnished with garden furniture.

The only neighbor is 150 meters away, with no visibility except from the lakeshore.

The owner offers the possibility to rent two inflatable kayaks.

No large dogs are allowed; small pets are permitted (pets under 15 kg). Other pets must be agreed upon with the owner, with a pet fee of 30 euros per pet.

Charging for electric and hybrid cars must be arranged in advance with the owner, starting at 5 euros per day (8-amp charging, bring your own charger).
