45 km to the north from Posio municipality center, 144 km to the east from Rovaniemi, 75 km to the south from Kemijärvi, 100 km to the northwest from Kuusamo. Located on the Porosaari island in lake Ala-Suolijärvi (road to the destination). Sand/rocky-bottomed, shallow, rapidly deepening beach. The distance to the beach is about 60 meters. Swimming pier. Aluminum boat and outboard motor are included in the price (customer brings fuel). Boat landing gear. Modern Kontio-branded log villa, built in 2015. The spacious living room/kitchen has dining and seating group and 2 sofa beds. Loft (steep stairs / room height in the middle 180 cm) with 2 single beds and TV. The kitchen has ceramic stove, convection oven, hood, refrigerator, running water (flow heater), coffee maker, kettle, toaster, versatile and high-quality dishes and utensils for dining and cooking. Cabinets with sliding doors in the dressing room. The sauna is equipped with wood-burning sauna stove, washing water will be heated in the tank connected to the stove. Water from the well (can be drink) is supplied to the kitchen, sauna, toilet sink and fish gutting site. Heating with air source heat pump and convection air stove. Spacious eco-toilet and storage in a separate building. Hot tub can be used by an agreement, please contact the owner directly. Additional fee: 200 euro/week.

The house is decorated personally, flavored with design and art. The living room / kitchen has a large dining table and a modern, well-equipped kitchen where it is nice to cook. The buildings are placed on the plot respecting the surrounding nature. The atmosphere in Porosaari island is calm. It is easy to breathe in the oxygen-rich pine terrain. Nice terrains for picking blueberries, cloudberries, lingonberries and mushrooms according to the season. The clean-water and fishy Ala-Suolijärvi is one of the largest lakes in the river Kemijoki watershed, area is about 55,9 km². Terraces (approx. 70 m²) partially covered. Terrace furniture e.g. dining group and charcoal grill (Weber-branded briquette grill). Guests have access to the following facilities: - Wi-Fi - two bicycles (unisex) - smoking box - oars or outboard Honda 5 hp (four stroke). The customer brings the fuel. - life jackets - fish gutting site (well water) Hot tub (Kirami-branded) with plastic interior material is easy to care and use. Access to Usage of the hot tub by separate agreement. Water to the hot tub can be pumped from the by using an electric pump. Services in the Posio municipality center (eg.   Mökki on kaikkiaan erittäin hyvä. Käytännössä kaikki tarvittavat asiat löytyvät mökistä ja sen varusteista. Oikeastaan vain suihkun puuttumisen voi kokea ns. puutteeksi, mutta itse olen ratkaissut sen ottamalla mukaan oman usb-suihkun. Mökki on hienosti sisustettu ja erittäin siisti.   Olimme kolmatta kertaa Papanassa lomalla. Mökki varusteineen on huippuluokkaa. Mökillä on kaikki tarvittava, plussana palju ja kunnollinen vene moottori. Viestintä omistajan kanssa on vaivatonta.
